The Center of Environmental Protection and Safety

Overview:

The aims of the Center of Environmental Protection and Safety are to comply the government's policy about the school environmental protection and the safety and health of laboratories, internship, and research units

The Center of Environmental Protection and Safety was set up to promote the environmental protection and safety and health of the campus, reduce the loss of property due to occupational disasters, strengthen the safety management and inspection of machinery and equipment, establish excellent circumstances of experiment, internship and research, to ensure the safety and health of all the members of the school.

The duties of the center is as follows

 (1)The duties of the Environmental Protection and Security Center are as follows:

     To plan and supervise the environmental protection affairs.

     To plan and supervise the safety and health administration affairs.

     To plan and supervise environmental protection and safety education programs.

     To develop occupational disaster prevention plans and supervise the implementation in the related departments.

     To provide information and advice about environmental protection to the principal

     The other business related to environmental protection and health management.

(2)The duties of the environment protection sector are as follows:

    To management of laboratory poisonous materials and environmental protection.

    To guide and supervise all units to conduct periodic inspections, key inspections and measurement of working environment.

   To promote school energy saving policies.

   The other related environmental protection issues.

(3)The duties of the safety and health sector are as follows:

    To promote and implement the education and training programs.

    To exercise firefighting drills of school staffs.

   To assist the establishment an automatic inspection system of different laboratories and practice classrooms.

   To proceed the investigation and handling of occupational disaster, the statistics of occupational disasters.
